WHO WE ARE

IMG_4953.JPG

JENNIFER BEITEL is a follower of Christ, wife, and mother of three. As a parent of teens, she realizes the challenges this generation faces growing up as Christians. The Lord has called her into serving the church through helping to equip both parents and teens in discipleship and worldview. She desires to empower families to raise resilient followers of Christ who are able to confidently live out their faith in a chaotic culture. Since 2019, Jennifer has taken several classes including Essentials of the Faith and Conversational Evangelism from the Norm Geisler InstituteHermeneutics, God's Big Story, & Revelation from theologian Krista Bontrager, and an audit of Prof Nancy Pearcey's HCU graduate course on Gender, Sexuality and Abortion. She has been leading parents through other book studies focused on apologetics and worldview since early 2021 and has led several worldview-focused book clubs for the Center for Biblical Unity. She is a commissioned Colson Fellow of the Colson Center for Christian Worldview and a graduate of the Cross Examined Instructor Academy. She has served as a plenary speaker along with Melissa Dougherty, Lindsey Medenwaldt, and Jeremy Bannister at a 2024 conference aiming to help equip Christian parents. Jennifer invites all who ardently desire to cultivate a strong, enduring faith in our youth to join us here at UNITED. She prays always that UNITED glorifies God in all we do.

MAX BEITEL is a committed follower of Christ who loves theology, philosophy, and apologetics. He is passionate about learning, teaching, discipleship, and evangelism. Max is a strong Christian leader within Gen Z and desires that God would use his life to lead others to a knowledge of the truth (2 Tim 2:24-26). Max is an alumnus of the Impact 360 Fellows program (Class XVII), where he studied Christian worldview, philosophy, ethics, and leadership. While at the University of North Texas, Max served as a Ratio Christi officer (teaching role), Cru student leader, and New Rev house leader. He also led numerous college Bible studies and volunteered with the children’s ministry at his local church. This year, Max is a student in the Colson Fellows worldview training program, and he is working part-time to establish a Ratio Christi chapter at SDSU. He is looking forward to serving in both a teaching capacity and as a teen discussion leader with UNITED. (He's also a talented jazz musician!)
