INTEGRATIVE APPROACH
Parents are the ones whom God has placed as the primary disciple-makers of their children. With this in mind, UNITED comes alongside families seeking to equip their children in their faith. Our mission includes taking an integrative approach in walking with both parents and their teens while fostering a discipleship mindset within the home. In light of this mission, while parents & grandparents are always welcome to participate without a teen, our teens are required to have a parent(s) participate with them.

FALL 2024: IS IT TRUE?
A destructive movement called deconstruction is sweeping through our churches. It has disrupted, dismantled, and destroyed the faith of many. Our kids need to be able to recognize what it is, why it's happening, why it's important, and how to be on guard. This will then flow naturally into discussing the authority and reliability of Scripture and honing critical thinking skills.

Get ready because we plan to get off the sidelines and into action! We will be learning how to lovingly and effectively engage with others in evangelism and having spiritual conversations. Then taking all we learn and putting it to use.

How to Carefully Read the Bible
Come an hour before our meetings at 5:00 PM to learn practical skills on how to carefully approach the Bible and read it well. We'll then practice by applying these skills together! Optional but encouraged for all UNITED participants.
MAVEN Immersive Experience 2025
We are in prayer for UNITED's 2nd MAVEN Immersive Experience to begin training late Spring for a Summer 2025 trip to Salt Lake City. Details TBD. Visit the Immersive Experience page to learn more.
2023/2024 RECAP!
Last year, we went through Christopher Yuan's The Holy Sexuality Project. The material covered the most pressing issues related to sexuality, gender, identity, temptation, desires, marriage and more.
We were blessed throughout the year by Q&A's and extra teachings given by Dr. Yuan himself as well as Stand to Reason apologist, Alan Shlemon and MAVEN Director of Immersive Experiences, Ryan Pauly. We were also privileged to learn from Pastor George Clerie.
We ended our year with a group of students and parents who participated in our first ever MAVEN Immersive Experience! The pre-trip trainings culminated in a trip to LA, curating an incredibly unique, transformative, and edifying experience that we pray will continue to be an annual occurrence for UNITED students.
