Following Jesus. Flourishing in His design.
This year, UNITED will be an intentionally small, discussion-based discipleship group for high school girls. Our goal is to create space for honest conversation, deeper relationships, prayer, worship, service, outreach, and practical application—not simply learning more about Christianity, but learning to follow Jesus in a way that increasingly shapes everyday life.
Parents will meet separately for their own discussion group, loosely following many of the same themes so that conversations can continue at home.
FALL 2026 - FOLLOW: THE LIFE OF A DISCIPLE
What does it actually look like to follow Jesus—not just believe the right things about Him?
This Fall, we’ll focus on the habits and practices that help us grow in our relationship with Christ. Using Apologetic, Inc's 7x7 Series "Do I Practice What I Believe?" as a foundation, we’ll talk about spiritual disciplines, meaningful prayer, studying Scripture, the purpose of the church, Sabbath, worship, and more. The materials emphasize that spiritual disciplines are practices that help us grow in faith, live out what we believe, and resist apathy and complacency as our lives are increasingly transformed by Christ.
We’ll wrestle with questions like: What do I really love most? What gets my time and attention? What competes with God for my worship? Am I approaching my faith as a participant or simply a consumer?
We’ll also explore the idea that relationships take work, desire often follows discipline, and we reap what we sow in our spiritual lives.
The goal is to become girls who think like Jesus, are transformed by Jesus, share Jesus with others, and live out their calling with Him.
SPRING 2027 - FLOURISH: GOD'S DESIGN FOR WOMANHOOD
What does it mean for a young woman to truly flourish?
Culture offers plenty of answers: pursue success, protect your happiness, follow your feelings, find yourself, put yourself first. This Spring, we’ll step back and ask whether those messages actually lead to the kind of life we were created for.
Through Scripture, articles, videos, real-life stories, and candid discussion, we’ll explore biblical womanhood, femininity, feminism, identity, relationships, marriage, motherhood, family, sacrifice, responsibility, calling, and preparing for college. We’ll also consider how social media, therapeutic language, and a culture centered increasingly on self-expression can shape the way young women understand themselves and their relationships.
Rather than simply pointing out what is wrong with culture, we want to offer a more beautiful and compelling vision—one in which flourishing is found not in making ourselves the center of life, but in loving God, loving others, cultivating wisdom and virtue, embracing meaningful relationships and responsibilities, and becoming the women God created us to be.

Sunday, Sept. 20 - Annual Kickoff Potluck at 5:30 PM!
All remaining meetings include food & fellowship starting 5:30 PM and meeting from 6:00-7:30 PM
on the following dates:
Sept. 27, Oct. 4, 11, 18, 25, Nov. 1, 8, 15. Christmas Party on Dec. 6.
