MAVEN IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE
One of the ministries that UNITED fully supports and applauds is MAVEN. MAVEN exists to help the next generation know truth, pursue goodness and create beauty, all for the cause of Christ, and to equip those who teach and train them—parents, grandparents, youth workers, pastors and educators—to do the same.
In addition to providing an abundance of resources, training materials, and annual conferences, MAVEN offers unique and transformative Immersive Experiences. After participating in an Immersive Experience, students are equipped to articulate their faith with confidence and compassion, and grow in their knowledge of the truthfulness of Christianity. This pastor talks about the huge impact that was made on his students after they attended a trip.

In June 2024, ten students and seven parents embarked on UNITED's first ever Worldview Immersive Experience with MAVEN! After six weeks of training, we spent a week in Los Angeles with their field guides applying a biblical lens to all areas of life including the arts & entertainment, economics, homelessness, and pop culture. We explored other worldviews like the New Age and Scientology and, by comparison, learned how Christianity is the only worldview that aligns with Truth. The week was spent immersing ourselves in cultivating a worldview that sees all of life through what it means to deny ourselves, take up our cross, and follow Jesus.
Plans are in the works for another Immersive Experience with MAVEN in summer 2025! This time, it will be their Biblical Immersive Experience where we will be traveling to Salt Lake City, Utah, engaging in conversations with our Mormon neighbors. We hope your student can join us!
